At the end of my last post, I made a big claim. I said that “our week with the Cameron family changed how we approached our lives, the cancer and our faith.” I realize that having life altering vacations may not be everyone’s normal. So, now I get to do one of Alex’s favorite things. I get to share our backstory. Click Play to set the mood…
In order to even start telling our story, you need to know something about me. I am a Podcast Addict. I am that person in your group of friends that is always saying, “I just listed to a podcast about that.” or “You would love what I just heard.” Podcasts have always been a bottomless source of inspiration, knowledge and humor for me. It started way back in 2002 with my pastor sharing his podcast list. I opened the podcast section in iTunes and it was like a heavenly light shining through my computer screen. I found so many incredible venues for learning and inspiration.
These last couple of years, they’ve been a lifeline. As I share our stories, I will also be sharing some podcasts that also impacted how we live our lives.
I’m not a technology guru so if you have questions about how to listen to podcasts, check out this link.
Future posts will call out favorite podcast episodes, but to start, these are the podcasts that I currently subscribe to.
Although I’m sure the list will grow.
